Joe & Elly | Chilliwack Wedding Photographer

Joe & Elly were married in early July.  It started out cloudy with some very light showers but a couple hours into the day, the wind swept in and the sun broke through the clouds to reveal a crisp blue sky.  Joe nervously fumbled and paced in the hours before greeting his bride as she walked down the aisle.  Elly, not so nervous, was elated with the prospect of marrying her best friend.  She was on a cloud.  She fluttered around the living room at her sister’s house that morning, making sure to tell her nieces just how dashing they looked in their princess dresses, sipping her coffee, and making a quick last minute decision to switch her chain with her sister’s (so the heart pendant Joe had given her as a gift would hang perfectly from around her neck).  Kristy (a dear friend of mine, and Joe’s sister) was my second shooter for the day.  I am so thankful to Kristy, not only for her amazing contribution photographically speaking – but her lovely presence, assured nature, and all around fun personality.  The day flowed beautifully.  From morning through until evening, friends and family enjoyed each other’s company, knowing they were celebrating the kind of love – the kind of marriage, worth celebrating.
